Before After
Before After The brief
A 160 m² villa in Budva is seasonal: closed in winter, full in summer. Materials had to survive empty months and humidity without a dark winter interior that feels heavy in summer. Some furniture goes to storage; some stays. The clients want a clear list of what comes off each autumn — no improvisation.
Solution
Limestone on wet and entry floors; walnut on pieces that stay in the house. Sofas have covers that come off out of season. The kitchen remains a permanent zone with harder worktops; living textiles and cushions sit on the seasonal kit list.
Process
The seasonal brief built a permanent-versus-seasonal furniture list before drawing. Two palettes: darker winter versus lighter year-round. The lighter line was approved. 3D of living zone and kitchen closed the concept.
Result
The concept splits what stays in the villa in winter from what is removed, with materials that handle empty-month humidity. The interior stays bright for summer use and off-season photos. Not a built house.
